dc.description.abstractThis case study explores the pilot project on improving grain storage technology in Dwakira Chini Village, Morogoro District, Tanzania. Addressing the significant annual loss of grains due to inadequate storage, the project combines local knowledge and modern innovations to develop appropriate, sustainable solutions. The study highlights the collaborative efforts of institutions such as the Community Development Trust Fund, the Institute of Adult Education, and local authorities, emphasizing participatory research and community-driven development. The findings underscore the importance of grassroots involvement in addressing critical rural challenges and contribute to national campaigns for food security.
