Initial Questions: Get background data and establish cooperative relationship between
respondent and interviewer.
Core Concepts: These questions are intended to be asked in some form in all studies. Each study will supplement these questions with their own special interests. Open ended questions should be asked first to get respondents perspective; rating scales should be used after open-ended answers and examples have been completed for the concept.
Description
This interview guide explores how Local Stakeholder Organizations (LSOs) participate in development projects through shared decision-making and control over resources. It emphasizes understanding the evolution of LSOs, the clarity of project goals, and actual influence on project stages. Using both qualitative and quantitative tools, the study seeks to evaluate participation’s outcomes, sustainability, and its enabling or inhibiting factors. The framework supports comparative research across sectors, regions, and initiation types.
