This document presents multiple real-life NGO case backgrounds from different South Asian contexts focusing on rural poverty, women's empowerment, urban slum rights, and institutional capacity-building. Each narrative highlights grassroots-level challenges and solutions, from agricultural innovation to legal rights for slum dwellers. These stories reflect diverse development strategies such as participatory planning, tenure reform, gender-focused credit, and health-to-rights transitions. Together, they provide a rich foundation for understanding participatory development in varied socio-economic settings.
