dc.description.abstractThe Research Unit on Women's Studies has been actively involved in research and action programmes with rural women for some time and now we wish to expand our methods and focus. By bringing together resource persons with varied related experience we attempt to provide a platform to share insights and generate new ideas. We hoped that out of this workshop a general methodology or scheme of possible techniques would emerge to serve as guidelines in launching a participatory research and development programme for women in villages,
