Description

The theory of adult learning emphasizes five key principles: self-concept, emotional engagement, choice, relevance, and experience. Adult learners thrive when their self-worth is acknowledged, emotions are supported, and they can choose relevant content based on lived experience. These principles stress empowerment, respect, and learner-centered methods. Facilitators must create supportive environments for meaningful adult learning.
