Abstract
The Center for Participatory Research and Learning at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst will sponsor, with the participation of Paulo Freire, a three-day conference on participatory research, featuring: (1) discourse on empowerment for action through participation in learning; (2) presentation of on-going participatory research projects in diverse areas of community action; and, (3) demonstration workshops on selected methods in use.
